These terms govern your use of Veriyard, provided by CNR Nexus Consulting Inc. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Veriyard is a record-keeping tool for construction spending. It stores what you and the people you invite enter: payments, receipts, transfers, budgets and approvals.
When you invite someone to a project, you are granting them access to that project's content at the role you assign. You are responsible for who you invite and for removing access when it is no longer appropriate. You confirm you have the right to share with them any information you upload.
Your content remains yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to host, store, back up, transmit and display it so we can operate the service for you and the people you have invited. We claim no ownership of your projects, entries or receipts, and we do not use them to train machine-learning models.
You are responsible for the legality of what you upload.
You agree not to:
Veriyard's core record-keeping is free. Some features require a paid Project Pass or subscription.
We work to keep Veriyard running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend access for maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and time to export your records.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where required by law. Except where the breach is serious or unlawful, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. You may close your account at any time.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Veriyard is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, or that your records will be sufficient for any particular purpose, including any dispute, audit or legal proceeding.
Keep your own copies of anything important. The export feature exists for exactly this reason.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CNR Nexus Consulting Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost data, or construction costs, disputes or delays arising from your use of Veriyard.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under consumer protection legislation that applies to you.
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Veriyard afterwards means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Saskatchewan have jurisdiction, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
